Ernesto Castillo is a Latin guitarist and composer based in Singapore. Born and raised in the Cuban countryside, his musical identity was shaped by Afro-Cuban rhythm, the meeting of African and Spanish cultures at the heart of Cuban music, and later widened through jazz.

He has opened for Grammy-winning artists Gregory Porter and Earth, Wind & Fire and for the Cuban singer Omara Portuondo, and has performed at the Singapore International Jazz Festival, Mosaic Music Festival, the International Guitar Festival in Singapore, Ijen Summer Jazz in Indonesia and Fringe World in Australia.

Ernesto has been part of Adam Hall and the Cuban Young Guns, a show honoured at the Music & Musicals Weekly Awards across multiple years, and of Flamenco y Cuba by Aire Flamenco, which received a five-star review in 2025.

Performing solo, in duo or with his band, he brings the same musicianship to concert stages, hotels, embassy receptions, corporate events and private celebrations, shaping each set to the room.
